City Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia Donates Two Double Cabin Pick-ups to Fight COVID-19

As more Ugandans, institutions and companies continue to heed to a call by President Museveni to join the fight against COVID-19, City Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia has come out to donate two pickup double cabins to the National task force.

While addressing the nation on Wednesday, Museveni called upon able Ugandans to provide support as the country continues to fight the deadly Coronavirus.

Museveni emphatically noted that those willing to help in the fight to prioritize donating brand new double-cabin pick-up trucks, with four-wheel drive.

It’s upon this request that Sudhir and his family donated the two pickups on additional to other relief items that he had given out earlier.

The pickups were delivered on Thursday by Amit Sachdeva the head of Speke hotels and Ahmed Bongo Head of security Ruparelia Group at the Prime Minister’s Office in Kampala.

“On behalf Of Ruparelia Foundation we are here to Represent our Chairman Sudhir Ruparelia, Jyostsna Ruparelia, Sheena Ruparelia, Rajiv Ruparelia and the entire Ruparelia Family who have donated two double cabin pickups to Help Fight Covid-19,” said Sachdeva.

Sachdeva said that the donation is in line with the presidential call to those in position to help the taskforce
He added that Ruparelia foundation a few weeks gave 5000 food packages to the less privileged in Kampala towns.

While receiving the donation, the Prime Minister, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda appreciated Sudhir and other Ugandans for the generosity expressed.

Museveni said with more cars at the health ministry’s disposal, it will be able to execute its mandate during this critical time.
