Singer Evelyn Lagu is finally back in Uganda after a couple of months in Turkey.

She had gone in a European country for a kidney transplant.

Evelyn Lagu was stuck in a hospital in Turkey for some time after failing to meet the bills.

She begged for assistance and was helped by sympathizers to clear the medical payments.

The singer, however, says she didn’t get the kidney transplant as expected.

“The medics that side discovered that my body cannot handle a major operation so they advised me against it.”

“They said that if we insisted I would not live for long. So I chose to follow their advice,” she said.

“I call upon anyone who can employ me or give me business to please do so because I need money.”

“My life is expensive due to the sickness,” she added.

Evelyn Lagu says she is now going to continue taking medication as she looks for a job.
