Portugal national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo claims that he will always be looking for more.

He said this after he netted his 58th career hat-trick in his country’s 5-0 thrashing of Luxembourg on Tuesday night.

Following two penalties inside the opening 13 minutes Ronaldo completed his treble with an 87th-minute header.

Already the highest goalscorer in men’s international history, Ronaldo now has the most hat-tricks with ten.

“Another victory, another step towards our goal, another historic night in defense of our colors!”

“Everything becomes easier when we play at home and in front of an audience that cares for us from the first to the last minute…”

“I had promised that I would always be looking for more and more and more!”

“It’s in my DNA and in our DNA, we’re never content, we never lower our arms and we always go.”

He has now become the first player in men’s international football to score 10 hat-tricks for his country.

The Portuguese international broke the all-time international goals scored feat last month, which was previously held by Iran forward Ali Daei.
