John Terry has left Aston Villa to pursue his ambition of becoming a manager.
The 40-year-old Chelsea legend finished his playing days at the club after joining in 2017.
He then returned a year later to become assistant head coach to Dean Smith.
Now he has confirmed the shock news that he has left the Premier League club.
His intention is to visit teams around Europe to gain further experience.
John Terry appeared to rule out taking over at Swansea City and replacing Steve Cooper.
