The NSSF Lira Branch this week donated vital medical equipment to Boroboro Health Centre III, strengthening healthcare services for the local community.
As part of the 40 Good Deeds initiative marking NSSF’s 40th anniversary, the branch presented a Hemocue machine and other essential items that will help health workers make accurate diagnoses and provide better patient care.
Branch Manager Humphrey Ogwang said, “At NSSF, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. By providing this equipment, we are supporting health workers and ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate care.”
Dr. Irene Abeja Acheka, the facility’s in-charge, expressed gratitude, noting, “This donation comes at a critical time and will make a real difference in the way we manage patient care. NSSF’s support demonstrates a true commitment to community health.”
This donation is part of NSSF’s broader social responsibility program. Over the years, NSSF has supported schools, health facilities, and vulnerable communities across Uganda, providing equipment, educational materials, and other resources to uplift lives. The 40 Good Deeds campaign is a continuation of this commitment, celebrating 40 years of service by giving back to communities nationwide.
NSSF continues to reaffirm its mission of not just securing financial futures but also improving lives through tangible support in areas like healthcare, education, and community development.
