As part of the Customer Service Month celebrations, Housing Finance Bank hosted a community health camp in partnership with C-Care at St. Peter’s Church of Uganda, Katanga, Wandegeya.
The event aimed to bring essential health services closer to the community by offering convenient access to medical check-ups, preventive screenings, and wellness advice in a familiar and accessible environment.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Peace Ayebazibwe, Executive Director at Housing Finance Bank, emphasized the Bank’s commitment to promoting community wellness.
“We thank our partners C-Care, the church, and the community leaders for hosting the health camp and mobilizing residents of Wandegeya and Katanga to turn up and get their health checked. We encourage everyone to take advantage of such initiatives,” she said.
Ms. Prudence Asobola, Manager at C-Care Foundation Uganda, also highlighted the importance of health education in improving community well-being.
“As C-Care Foundation, we emphasize the importance of health education and encourage community members to take charge of their health and participate in medical outreach programs,” she noted.
