KCB i-Bank Revamped to Ease Bank Transactions

KCB Bank Uganda has in the latest development introduced a revamped KCB i-Bank an internet banking platform aimed at easing banking transactions and offer best services to customers.

With KCB’s iBank, customers can access several services including checking account balances, viewing all accounts transactions, transfer of funds to any KCB Account with in the country and to any subsidiary in Africa as well as making local and international telegraphic transfers.

Speaking  to the Ceo East African Magazine, the KCB Bank Uganda, Manager Marketing and Communication, Diana Komukama said that the internet banking will go along away in giving customers a new experience of banking which will enhance timely transactions and ensure safety and convenience.

Komukama added that with the KCB iBank, customers can also pay bills for utilities and pay tax to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) while new customers have to separately apply for internet banking at no cost to enjoy the service.

Speaking on the same development, the Manager Transaction Banking at KCB Bank, Doreen Rutazaana said that the bank’s internet Banking Platform which is also called i-Bank is web banking platform makes it possible for our customers to make multiple electronic transactions online.

“Security is at the centre of KCB Bank Uganda’s digital direction; with our internet banking platform, your Organisation is able to make safer and faster transfers. It is also a cost-effective means of keeping tracking of finance all from the convenience of your computer, tablet, mobile phone or even a smart watch,” Rutazaana told the CEO East African Magazine.

Rutazaana noted that the bank’s internet banking platform was recently revamped and improved which has now enabled more services that can be performed at the Customer’s convenience anywhere around the world at anytime.

“These services, include: viewing all account transactions, transfer of funds to any subsidiary in Africa, making local and international telegraphic transfers with the provision of adding beneficiaries, changing banking passwords, staying updated on market Forex rates, downloading online account statements and Bill payments to Uganda Revenue Authority,” Rutazaana expounded.

She added that other than flexibility and convenience, KCB’s iBank gives customers control over their finances.

“The platform is highly secure and can be accessed from the comfort of your home and even while on holiday. Once you sign up, you don’t need to visit any branch for simple financial transactions” Rutazaana emphasized.
