Zain announces the launch of its new eSports brand in line with the launch of the largest seasons of regional esports competition, organized by “EA Sports” in the Middle Eastern markets for the game “EA Sports FIFA 21”
It is considered a unique competition, first of its kind in the region as it will be organized in an official partnership with EA Sports, a world leader in digital interactive entertainment and “PlayStation.”
The competitions will host various major events as well as smaller community competitions with cash prizes, which comes right after the recent global launch of “PlayStation 5” and “EA Sports FIFA 21”, the latter of which was launched by “EA Sports” on October 9 in a series of “FIFA” games, and represents the 28th episode of the series.
It is scheduled that this regional edition of the electronic competitions will witness the holding of qualifying rounds between 1-5 December, with playoffs and finals occurring from 8-9 December and 15-16. This edition of the competitions will be organized in parallel with the launch of the new “Zain eSports” brand as it announces its alliance with the former Saudi FIFA eWorld Cup champion, Musaed Al Dossary, in the initial edition of the “EA Sports FIFA 21” challenge. Where Al-Dossary will support Zain in the promotional aspects of this exceptional event for fans of esports competitions. Moreover, Zain has collaborated in launching its eSports platform with eGen, a full-service esports agency and consultancy.
