Centenary Bank’s General Manager for Corporate Communications and Marketing, Beatrice Lugalambi, has been installed as the 39th President of the Rotary Club of Muyenga for the 2026–2027 Rotary year.

The installation ceremony, held over the weekend, marked the official handover of leadership from outgoing President Alex to Lugalambi, ushering in a new chapter for one of Kampala’s active Rotary clubs.

Lugalambi takes office under Rotary’s theme, “Each One, Engage for Impact,” which encourages members to deepen their commitment to service and community transformation.

The event attracted Rotarians, business leaders, and partners, including Centenary Bank Managing Director Fabian Kasi, who emphasized that leadership is about carrying forward a shared purpose rather than simply assuming a new position.

“Succession is more than a transition of roles. It is the continuation of a shared mission, values, and purpose,” Kasi said.

He also encouraged the incoming president to lead with authenticity.

“Be original. Don’t be intimidated by those who came before you. Original things are always more valuable than imitations,” he added.

Centenary Bank congratulated Lugalambi on the milestone, describing her appointment as a reflection of her commitment to service, visionary leadership, and creating meaningful impact in communities.

The bank noted that her leadership at Rotary aligns with its long-standing commitment to supporting community development and empowering individuals through partnerships that create lasting social and economic impact.

As she begins her one-year term, Lugalambi is expected to lead initiatives that strengthen collaboration, expand community service projects, and inspire more people to embrace Rotary’s ideal of “Service Above Self.”

Her appointment further highlights the growing role of corporate leaders in contributing beyond the workplace by using their skills and influence to drive positive change in society.
