DStv Uganda has scooped the Brand of the Year title at this year’s GOAT Marketers Awards, an annual event that celebrates creativity and excellence in marketing across Uganda.

The colourful ceremony took place at Hotel Africana in Kampala and attracted leading industry players, agencies, and corporate brands. The awards are organised by the Uganda Marketers Society, a body that brings together professionals dedicated to promoting innovation in marketing.

DStv Uganda was praised for its consistency in running engaging campaigns, supporting local productions, and offering content that resonates with Ugandan viewers. Over the past year, the pay-TV company rolled out several successful promotions and programs that strengthened its bond with customers.

Accepting the award, Colin Asiimwe, the Head of Marketing at MultiChoice Uganda, said the recognition was a result of teamwork and a strong connection with their audience. He noted that DStv will continue to invest in storytelling and entertainment that reflect African culture and experiences.

The event also recognised other outstanding brands and individuals who have contributed to shaping Uganda’s marketing landscape.

With this win, DStv Uganda cements its reputation as a leader in entertainment and brand communication, setting a high standard for creativity and customer engagement in the country.
