Raheem Sterling is reportedly being targeted by Barcelona for a January loan.

Manchester City’s England winger, 26, has started just two of the seven top-flight fixtures this season.

Raheem Sterling fell down the pecking order at the Etihad.

Sterling, benched towards the end of last season, was the inspiration behind England’s surge to the European Championship Final in July.

But that made little impact on his standing under Pep Guardiola.

He is understood to have been offered to Spurs in City’s bid to land Harry Kane during the summer.

But the north Londoners to dig their heels in.

Despite repeatedly talking up Sterling, Guardiola has also fielded him for a full 90 minutes in the league just once so far this season.

The former Liverpool star has made 297 competitive appearances for City overall.

He has scored 72 goals and picking up 49 assists.
