In a bold and inspiring career move, Marsha Walusimbi has officially joined dfcu Bank as the Chief People & Culture Transformation Officer—a key leadership role that reflects both her remarkable journey and the bank’s commitment to shaping the future of workplace transformation.

Marsha brings to dfcu Bank a wealth of experience spanning over a decade, most recently having served 11 impactful years at American Tower Corporation (ATC). Her time at ATC was not just a job—it was, in her own words, “a journey that shaped me both professionally and personally.” Throughout her tenure, she held various senior roles and played a critical part in shaping organizational culture, talent strategy, and leadership development across multiple markets.

“From the day I stepped through the doors till the last, it was a ride full of growth, learning, and unforgettable moments,” Marsha shared in a heartfelt farewell message to her ATC family.
“I appreciate the leaders that took time to mentor me, the team that I worked closely with, and the organization as a whole.”

At dfcu Bank, she steps into a strategic role at a transformative time—tasked with leading people-centric innovation, cultural alignment, and leadership development across the organization. With her signature blend of empathy, executive presence, and strategic HR leadership, Marsha is expected to drive impactful change in how the bank attracts, grows, and retains top talent.

“Now, I’m thrilled to share that I’m embarking on a new adventure,” she wrote, expressing excitement for the next phase of her journey.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to grow, contribute, and connect.”

A New Chapter Begins
