Kato Lubwama defends Pastor Bugingo

A month ago, Pastor Bugingo and lover Susan Makula held what was assumed to be a customary marriage ceremony in Kawuku, Entebbe.

His legal wife Teddy Naluswa accused him of embarking on a new marriage before dissolving the old one.

She asked the authorities to question the pastor about his actions.

On Monday when appearing before police, Pastor Bugingo denied the allegations of a new marriage, claiming he honoured an invitation by Susan Makula’s family as a guest.

His statement has received much backlash on social media, with many branding Pastor Bugingo as the biggest liar in Uganda’s history.

Kato Lubwama, who attended Pastor Bugingo’s function, says the pastor deserves a right to love whoever he wants.

He advises Teddy Nalusswa to give up on the marriage, Bugingo is no longer interested in her.
