Vivo Energy Uganda sale of two prime commercial service stations in Kampala has opened new investment opportunities. The company announced the move through a sealed bid process for qualified buyers.

The properties include Shell Clock Tower Service Station along Entebbe Road and Shell South Street Service Station opposite the Old Taxi Park. Both stations operate fully and include fuel and retail infrastructure.

Competitive Sealed Bid Process

Vivo Energy Uganda said the sale is part of its commercial property management strategy.

The company invited qualified buyers to submit sealed bids for the two Kampala properties.

“Vivo Energy Uganda invites sealed bids from interested parties for the purchase of its Shell Clock Tower Service Station and Shell South Street Service Station in Kampala,” the company said.

Details of the Service Station Properties

The Shell Clock Tower property sits on about 0.105 hectares under a leasehold title along Entebbe Road.

The Shell South Street property covers about 0.10 hectares under a freehold title in downtown Kampala.

Both sites include full fuel station infrastructure such as:

  • Fuel pumps and canopies
  • Underground fuel storage tanks
  • Paved forecourts
  • Motor vehicle service bays
  • Tyre service areas
  • Generator and compressor houses
  • Office and retail buildings

Strategic Investment Locations

Vivo Energy Uganda said the properties offer strong commercial potential.

Both stations sit in high-traffic areas with strong vehicle and pedestrian flow. They also connect easily to major roads and nearby business centers.

The company added that the sites could support:

  • Continued fuel retail operations
  • Mixed commercial activities
  • Future redevelopment projects

Bid Submission Requirements

Interested buyers must submit sealed bids stating the purchase price excluding VAT.

Each bid must include a five percent commitment fee supported by a 30-day bank guarantee payable to Vivo Energy Uganda Limited.

Property inspections will take place by appointment only.

Applicants must clearly state which property they want to purchase.

All bids must reach the Contracts and Procurement Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda before the deadline.

Submission Deadline

The deadline for bid submission is Monday, 30 March 2026.

Vivo Energy Uganda warned that it will not accept late bids.

Investors can contact the company’s procurement office in Kampala to schedule property inspections or request more details.
