Reports from France have stated that the defender has agreed a deal to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Ramos was expected to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid, but disagreements over the length of the deal delayed proceedings before Los Blancos’ deadline for an agreement passed.

Now, according to RMC Sport, Ramos will sign a two-year contract with PSG, a contract which he asked for at Real Madrid.

Rene Ramos, Sergio’s brother and agent, was in Paris on Thursday morning as he bid to close the deal.

All that is needed now to confirm the signing is a medical which is due to be completed in the next few days.

Sergio Ramos will be wearing the blue of PSG next season.
